Volunteer Roles From: Daily Bread Community Food Pantry

This role will have you helping us move full and empty wagons and unloading them into client's vehicles. 

It is an OUTSIDE job that will happen rain or shine, hot or cold so please dress accordingly.

In this roll you my be in our warehouse helping to unload vehicles as donations arrive, be sorting food and stocking shelves.  You may be in the front of the pantry sorting through fruits and veggies and breads.  This position helps with anything it takes to keep the warehouse stocked and ready to go.

This position is MOSTLY inside but you will be near an open bay door at times and will be taking things to the dumpster/recycling.  Please dress accordingly.

As a volunteer in this area of our warehouse you will be sorting food and stocking shelves in our front choice area and? or warehouse area.  You may be checking produce and baked goods too.  This position helps with anything it takes to keep the warehouse stocked and ready to go.

This position is MOSTLY inside but you will be near an open bay door at times and will be taking things to the dumpster/recycling.  Please dress accordingly. 

You will "shopping" for client's groceries such as breads, fruits, veggies, other baked goods and prepared foods. 

This is a private role for the floor manager.

This is for "famlies" to sign up with children under the age of 13.  There MUST be an adult with children under 13.  Please do not register here if you are all over 13 - register in the individual spots. 

This is an opportunity for you to volunteer as a family sorting and stocking and organizing The Pantry on a non distribution evening.  We are happy to have you with your family members come in as a group to help us.

In this role you will be managing the flow of client orders.  Additionally, you will be tracking specialty items such as diabetic supplies or birthday boxes or senior boxes.

Why did the chicken cross the road ?  To pick up donations at KFC!  Head over to KFC and pick up theri donated goodies and bring them back to The Pantry and load them into the freezers .

Pick up donations at Landis

This individual is the person that will help the other volunteers to navigate what tasks need completion on stocking days. This individual will help with family volunteer opportunities. There is prior experience and training required for this opportunity.

Italian food ???? Yes we have that!  This opportunity is to pick up donations at Olive Garden in Collegeville and to head back to The Pantry with those goodies.

These individuals will help to check clients in along and will help with registration process.

These individuals will help to gather personal care item requests and will help pull the items as requested.   One individual will meet with the clients to find out their needs, and the other will pull and package the items for delivery to their cart.

This is our go to for eggs and milk etc.  Are you able to head over to help with a pick up and then head back to The Pantry ?  If so this is the opportunity for you .

Volunteer will ask each client their food preferences for the Choice Room. This ticket will include client name, number of family members etc. Once completed, the tag will be placed on a shopping cart and sent to the Choice Room to be filled.

Lead will be helping in the warehouse area loading wagons for clients and overseeing the volunteers. This position helps in all aspects of getting the food from the warehouse to the clients.

These individuals will help to gather items from the refrigerators and freezers to distribute to clients .

This volunteer opportunity allows you to pull items from a master list and pack them up for our clients.  Choose kid-friendly items for families with children.  You will get to see your goodies going out the door to the clients.

This volunteer opportunity will take place in the warehouse in the Sate USDA aisle.  Pull items based on the weekly menu, box them up, and deliver them to the wagon.
