Volunteer Roles From: Daily Bread Community Food Pantry

You will "shopping" for client's groceries such as breads, fruits, veggies, other baked goods and prepared foods. 

In this role you will be managing the flow of client orders.  Additionally, you will be tracking specialty items such as diabetic supplies or birthday boxes or senior boxes.

These individuals will help to check clients in along and will help with registration process.

These individuals will help to gather personal care item requests and will help pull the items as requested.   One individual will meet with the clients to find out their needs, and the other will pull and package the items for delivery to their cart.

Volunteer will ask each client their food preferences for the Choice Room. This ticket will include client name, number of family members etc. Once completed, the tag will be placed on a shopping cart and sent to the Choice Room to be filled.

Lead will be helping in the warehouse area loading wagons for clients and overseeing the volunteers. This position helps in all aspects of getting the food from the warehouse to the clients.

Volunteers will be helping in the warehouse area loading wagons for clients. and getting them to the volunteers that load the cars.  Depending on the need you may do both.  This position helps in all aspects of getting the food from the warehouse to the clients.

These individuals will help to gather items from the refrigerators and freezers to distribute to clients .

This volunteer opportunity allows you to pull items from a master list and pack them up for our clients.  Choose kid-friendly items for families with children.  You will get to see your goodies going out the door to the clients.

This volunteer opportunity will take place in the warehouse in the Sate USDA aisle.  Pull items based on the weekly menu, box them up, and deliver them to the wagon.

This individual is responsible to receive client information and to be certain that all items are pulled correctly before being taken to client's vehicles.
